Our Curriculum

The Summit School follows a broad and balanced curriculum. We look forward in developing a sensitive attitude, empathy, and rational thinking among the students. We instil in our learners appreciation for social cultures, differences in individuals and high level of thinking skills where they can differentiate between right and wrong. We at The Summit School, make every possible effort to make learning “a joyous adventure” and thereafter ensure that this joyous journey turns into the most valuable and effective educational one embedded with life skills required by the child for the rest of his life.

We follow Montessori and kindergarten methods of teaching at the pre-primary level with the objective of reinforcing values, concepts, skills, ideas and activities. Emphasis is given on the holistic development of the children. Theme-based teaching is followed at the pre-primary level. The classrooms provide a structured environment. Activities are designed, keeping in mind, the need to incorporate multiple intelligences. Nature Trips, excursions are part of the learning process too.

At elementary, middle and high school level, the curriculum strictly follows CBSE CURRICULUM, involving hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Activities are linked to ideas through which children can experience relationships and associations as well as to clearly see and understand the surroundings of which they are an integral part. Heuristic method of imparting knowledge is highly encouraged, where students learn by doing research work and project works under the guidance of the facilitators. Learning is done in a number of ways like individual, group or peer learning. At the high school level, the school prepares the children for challenges of secondary education and further education.
